Presentation of Awards 2022
The annual presentation of club awards for the 2022 season took place at Belton Park Golf Club on Saturday evening 19th of November. It was an extra special occasion this year as it was the first time that the newly formed Belvoir Womens Cricket section were involved.
Before guests sat down to a delicious three course meal, Richard Taylor gave an address paying tribute to his son James ( a regular for the Sunday XI) who tragically passed away suddenly in September this year. James’ two sons, Jacob and Jesse then presented Club Treasurer , Simon Poole with a substantial cheque being donations from the collection at James’ funeral in October. The club would like to give huge thanks to the Taylor family for their generousity in what has been a very sad and difficult time for them.
After the meal the various awards were presented by the team captains and below is a list of the winners, thanks to Dan Gibson for the graphics !
