The recently refurbished Club Nets at the Belvoir Cricket Ground were officially declared open last Thursday the 29th of June.
Richard Taylor unveiled the plaque in memory of his son James, a Belvoir regular, who tragically passed away suddenly last September.
James’ two daughters cut the ribbons on either side of the nets and his sons Jacob and Jesse then christened the new facilities facing bowling from other club members.
All at Belvoir Cricket Club are extemely grateful to the Taylor family who very generously donated the funds that enabled the refurbishment to take place. They will be a lasting tribute to James and his memory.
