Belvoir Cricket Club held its first ever Ladies cricket training session at the Kings School indoor nets on Tuesday. Coaches Joe Peck and Olly Clayfield put the 17 ladies through various drills , batting, bowling and fielding during the 90 minute session.
This was a “taster” session and such was its success that 3 further indoor events are planned, before the squad will move to the Belvoir Cricket Ground at Knipton for Friday evening training sessions throughout the late spring and summer, once the weather improves !
