Today, Belvoir Cricket Club says good bye to one of its longest serving members, Vic Heppenstall. He was known by many and loved by everyone. A true Belvoir CC legend who will be remembered as a true gentlemen who officiated the game in such a professional manner. The thoughts of all the club members are with Vic’s family, Bunty, Neil, Sue and all the grandchildren.
The funeral will be at St Wulframs Church in Grantham at 2pm.

We have all lost a real friend! Apart from Belvoir The Kings School cricket was his next great love. I spent hours in Vics company travelling around the county and even the country in the school mini bus…never a dull moment! When I meet old cricketers from the school one of their first questions is “have you seen Vic lately”. I wonder how many times his name is going to be mentioned at cricket grounds around the county and beyond this summer and how many stories will be shared at tea about the great man. R I P dear friend.
