It is less than a year since the Belvoir Womens Cricket part of the club was formed so to reach the Finals Day of their first ever competition is a magnificent achievement !
The semi final vs Thoresby at Newark on Wednesday evening was a very close run event. After the initial match was completed the scores were tied so a nail biting “Super Over” ensued. The Belvoir Ladies held their nerve and won by4 runs. They now progress to the Nottinghamshire Softball finals which take place at Trent Bridge this Saturday 18th of March.
Huge congratulations to all involved and especially to team manager Sue Sharpe and coaches Matt Scott and Tom Lindsay.
